As I was driving home this evening, little John asks me a question from the backseat...."Mom, do you like vegetation?" I said, "sure." He then asked me, "Really?" which prompted me to ask him what "vegetation" meant. He replied, "you know, people who don't eat meat." HA HA HA!! He said he saw something about it on PBS today.
It really cracked me up and I felt compelled to share.

I LOVE this little story! It makes me miss teaching the 1st graders because they would come up with this stuff all the time... little Jon is so adorable. I hope I make it up to AK soon so I can see all of you! I miss the AK summer for sure :(. Hugs!

I've peeked at your life quite a few time out here in blog world and you have a great family. I really miss alaska. I might come up next summer. it would be fun to get together.
I can't remember the last time I saw you in person. was it some 4th of july at the gravel pit?
maybe we can do that again. Or will we get swimmers itch?!
