Las Vegas Trip

We went to Las Vegas for Grappler’s Quest, a jiu jitsu tournament.  After a bogus disqualification, he ended up with a bronze in no-gi and a silver with his gi.  We are very proud of him!

Terry, Loni, and Adyn stayed in the room next to us and the kids had a blast with their little cousin.  Paul, Julia, and the kids also stayed a night at our hotel and we had fun spending the day with them in Vegas.
As many times as we’ve visited Las Vegas, we’ve never been to Freemont Street.  Paul was in town during our last night so we parked at his station and walked.  We enjoyed the light show and the many look-a-likes we saw.

We happened to be in town the same weekend our good friend, Christine, was in town celebrating her 40th birthday.  John and I went out for the first time in years to celebrate with her and got together with her for lunch so she could meet the kids.
