Busy Day!

We had a busy day today. Eliana started the day off with a dip in the toy bin. :)


Then she hung out with Nonnie while John and I went to Dr. Tanner's office (FYI- if you are ever in Fairbanks and in need of dental work...Dr. Tanner is AWESOME!). While we were gone, she enjoyed a sink bath.



John had a molar pulled & 2 molars capped with stainless steel (what can I say, he has his dad's grill). He was a champ! He was so brave through all of the shots, xrays and the visits from Mr. Thirsty, Mr. Whistle (aka the drill....everyone's favorite) and Mr. Bumpy.



He got to bring his tooth home and tonight he put it under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy. He told me he was going to stay awake and peek at her when she came. Ha ha! I love that kid!

John loves to help me in the kitchen. We made muffins this morning and of course when Eliana saw what was going on, she had to get in on the action. :) I love my little helpers!

Happy Birthday John

John turned 5 today. I still can't believe he is 5 already. We had his party at Glow Putt with plenty of family, friends, pizza and a HUGE cake (it was twice as big as the cake I ordered...oops).

World Ice Art Championships 2008

We've had some really warm weather lately (it was 48 degrees today!!) and the ice sculptures are melting, so we decided to check it out tonight.



John had so much fun on the slides. I actually joined him on one of them, several times, and I had a blast too.

Happy 1st Birthday

When she woke up this morning, she got her present from us. She sat on it for a while and tried to make it go by moving her body (the battery was still charging).

I'm so happy that Alyssa is cutting hair again. She is working at Regis in the Bentley Mall, where she was happy to chop my hair off this morning. It doesn't look that long, but even in the braid it is over 9 inches long. :)

My Girly Girl

This morning I put a barrette in her hair. I only did it because I realized I could (she has enough hair on top).


A little later I decided to try a pony. And to my surprise, she let me do it!!


She is such a sweetie!!

The family that rocks together....

Little John LOVES and I mean LOVES Guitar Hero and Rock Band. (he is not alone!)


We decided to share our love of the game with Nonnie and Papa. I was on lead guitar, John was on bass, Uncle Steven was on drums and Papa was singing. Nonnie was the manager. :) We had a blast!!


And you know we had to get Papa on the drums! :)

Rogaine

Eliana is growing up so fast I can hardly stand it. Her dad wants to use Rogaine on her head to make her hair grow faster. He was joking, of course. :)
