Happy 2nd Birthday Eliana

Mmmm, cake batter.

 

She made herself comfortable in her birthday present, a pack & play for her baby dolls.

 

It snowed ALL DAY today. John came home from work early and did some snow removal with a helper.

 

We made Star Wars cupcakes for John's class tomorrow. His birthday falls on Monday, which also happens to be the first day of spring break.

 

Welcome Home Trent

This was taken in February 2007. Trent was on his way to the MTC and he had a short layover in Seattle, so we picked him up at the airport and took him out to lunch.

 

Trent returned on his birthday and this is John explaining his homemade birthday card.

The tutu is something I bought for her to wear on her birthday, along with a "birthday girl" shirt, but she saw the tutu and just had to try it on. :)

Ashley moved to Arizona today. We hung out, had dinner, and helped her do some last minute packing.... well, Eliana mostly unpacked things that interested her. :)

Cold Snap

We've been having a bit of a cold snap lately. Today it was -43, and tomorrow our high is supposed to be -37. In case you couldn't tell, Eliana likes to put her own hat on sometimes. :)

Christmas Program

John's kindergarten class performed 3 Christmas songs today for parents and family. John was so excited about today and when he saw us in the bleachers he gave us a huge smile and waved. Thanks again to Grandma and Aunt Ashley for saving seats for us! :)

 

After the performance, parents and family were invited to join the kindergartners in their classroom for muffins and juice. Eliana made herself at home at John's desk when he stepped away for a minute.

John attached 14 monkeys and he was quite proud of himself.

 

Eliana was very sleepy this evening, and she decided to rest on her brother's shoulder. Doesn't her mean face crack you up?
