Fundraiser Fun

We went to a fundraiser today for "Open Arms" daycare. Papa was there and he had a cement truck full of candy!!







John wanted to drive.


He loved the fire truck!


And the motorcycle.


Eliana just tried to stay warm (note the red nose :).


Then John and Daddy checked out the race cars.


I don't know who was more excited.

Climber McGee

Eliana has a new skill. She can climb up onto the green Ikea chairs. Please don't mind her crazy hair. Once she realizes there is a rubber band in her hair.... out it goes.







John has a hobby. He enjoys writing his name on and with anything he finds. Today at lunch he took the opportunity to write his name with rotini. He cracks me up.

Delicious Meaty Midnight Snack

I stopped by to see my sister tonight after I made a late night run to Safeway. She loaded me up with some DELICIOUS Korean ribs my dad made for dinner.

This is what was left after my son, husband, and I devoured them.

2 Silly Kiddos

Eliana loves this toy. She really likes it when she tilts it toward her face and all of the air blows in her face.

Heat Wave!

I left the house today wearing a light jacket and as soon as I got to the gas station, I ditched it. It was sooooooo nice today. I felt like sharing that bit of information. I actually saw 60 degrees on one bank sign. Woo hoo!!

According to weather.com it is going to be 58 tomorrow. YAY!!! Now, if only the snow would disappear a little quicker. :) I'm tired of stepping in puddles of slushy snow.

My Little Helper

Eliana loves my Swiffer duster for some reason. :) When she gets her hands on it, she heads straight for the tv stand and goes to work.

The "Tooth Berry" Came!

John was extremely excited when he woke up this morning to find his tooth gone and cash under his pillow! :) He showed me the money, then deposited it in his ATM piggy bank.


Eliana was digging in the kitchen cupboards and found a chocolate bunny. She was able to get the box open and after trying to pull his bow off, she decided it was more fun to nibble on his ears.

Busy Day!

We had a busy day today. Eliana started the day off with a dip in the toy bin. :)


Then she hung out with Nonnie while John and I went to Dr. Tanner's office (FYI- if you are ever in Fairbanks and in need of dental work...Dr. Tanner is AWESOME!). While we were gone, she enjoyed a sink bath.



John had a molar pulled & 2 molars capped with stainless steel (what can I say, he has his dad's grill). He was a champ! He was so brave through all of the shots, xrays and the visits from Mr. Thirsty, Mr. Whistle (aka the drill....everyone's favorite) and Mr. Bumpy.



He got to bring his tooth home and tonight he put it under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy. He told me he was going to stay awake and peek at her when she came. Ha ha! I love that kid!

John loves to help me in the kitchen. We made muffins this morning and of course when Eliana saw what was going on, she had to get in on the action. :) I love my little helpers!
