Christmas Program

John's kindergarten class performed 3 Christmas songs today for parents and family. John was so excited about today and when he saw us in the bleachers he gave us a huge smile and waved. Thanks again to Grandma and Aunt Ashley for saving seats for us! :)

 

After the performance, parents and family were invited to join the kindergartners in their classroom for muffins and juice. Eliana made herself at home at John's desk when he stepped away for a minute.

John attached 14 monkeys and he was quite proud of himself.

 

Eliana was very sleepy this evening, and she decided to rest on her brother's shoulder. Doesn't her mean face crack you up?

Eliana decided to wear Aunt Ashley's boots and it was quite funny watching her try to walk in them.

A Bargain

Well.... it's that time of my pregnancy when I get to buy a cheap, fake wedding set because mine no longer fits. :) We went to Claire's on Saturday and as I picked out my rings, Eliana hit up the "Dollar Tower" and found some sunglasses. She would not take them off. It was so funny!

John and I went to a movie tonight and Uncle Steven babysat for us. This is what we came home to. :)

Sweet Grills

We attempted to take a decent family picture for our Christmas cards this year, but Eliana was NOT in the mood. We had a little fun with some grills John bought.... they have a lollipop attached, which is the only reason Eliana was keeping it in her mouth. :)

Chopsticks

 

 

We watched Kung Fu Panda last night and included in the DVD extras was a short video that teaches you how to eat with chopsticks. Little John paid attention, and put his newly acquired skill to use this evening while he was eating his cake. I must say he did quite well for his first time!

Whenever someone sets the guitar down, Eliana grabs it and goes to town.
