Farewell Uncle Trent

Trent had a layover in Seattle on his way to Utah. We picked him up and hung out for a few hours. John really wanted to take him home with us, but he had to settle with the sweet bucket of dinosaurs his uncle brought him.

Gum

We bought John some gum at the store today. He was snacking on some apple slices and somehow the gum ended up in his hair.

He was a little upset.....


So I slapped a little peanut butter in his hair......


And he was happy again......

Cousins!

John's cousins came up to Washington for a visit and he had a blast with them! We will see them again in July and they will get to meet their new cousin, Maya, before we move to Florida.

Sledding in Alaska

While Mom was resting, John went sledding with daddy and Uncle Steven at UAF. It was 5 degrees ABOVE zero today, so they were excited to get some fresh air.

I put John down for his nap this afternoon and as I was walking by the window I noticed something shiny on the ground outside. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the shiny stuff was little pieces of my broken window. GRRR!

Short visit

Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Terra had a short layover in Seattle on their way home from Jamaica so we met them at the airport and had lunch together.

Good-Bye Old Jetta

I love this car and I don't want to sell it, but we bought a newer Jetta last month and this one has to go. :(

Good-Bye Aunt Ashley

We are sad to report that Ashley moved back to Alaska today.

John is such a crazy kid!

This month John started making these really funny faces when I take pictures of him. He cracks me up!!

Spending time with Aunt Ashley

Ashley hung out with us yesterday. She even brought us lunch from Pizza Hut and John was extremely excited about that. After lunch, John had lots of play time with Aunt Ashley.

A few days ago we went shoe shopping with Ashley. The boys' soccer team from her school decided to have a little fun with her car.

Funny Friday

We went to the park today and Aunt Ashley met us there. She was quite the multi-tasker today. She was chatting on her cell phone, riding the frog and playing with John.
