Family Math Night

Tonight was Family Math Night. John's class performed three math songs for us and then we played some math games.

We went out to dinner for Sabrina's 18th Birthday. We got home pretty late for a school night (8:45pm), but it was still light enough out to take a picture. :)

John woke up early this morning, cleaned his room, then took a picture of his handy work. Then he woke me up, told me what he had done, and asked if I might want to put the picture on my blog. How on earth could I say no to that? :)

She was 9 lbs. 3 oz. when she was born and as of Friday, she was back up to 9 lbs. She is quite long (22 1/4" at birth) so she seems really skinny to me. She is a great baby. She is so easy going and sleeps like a champ! We are extremely blessed and completely happy with our new addition.

John loves to hold his baby sister. He makes sure that he gets the chance every day. :) He's such a good big brother.

 

Night Owl

For some reason Eliana woke up at midnight and would NOT go back to sleep. After John changed her diaper she insisted on wearing her tutu.

 

She played and danced all around the living room for about an hour, then she went back to bed. :)

Eliana loves the bouncy seat. It's a loaner from Aunt Michelle and ever since the day she dropped it off (February 10th), Eliana has pretty much claimed it as her own.

John lost his first tooth!

His bottom two teeth have been loose for months now, and today he finally pulled one of them out. He was so proud of himself and excited about the prospective visit from the Tooth Fairy.

 

Welcome Home, Isabela

Isabela and I went home from the hospital today. It is so good to be home. The kids can't get enough of the new baby. They shower her with kisses every chance they get.

 

No idea

I have no idea what is going on with my pictures. I have been successfully using Picasa to post pictures to my blog, however, my kids' birthday party pictures seem to keep disappearing no matter how many times I try to fix them.

So proud of herself for blowing out the candles. :)

 

Um, yeah, so this cake looked really great when I picked it up from Safeway. It even said, "Happy 6th Birthday JOHN!" However, when we arrived at Gymnastics Inc., I promptly dropped the cake right onto the sidewalk (thankfully it was in a box), so that is why it looks the way it does. On a positive note, the kids didn't seem to mind and the entire cake was eaten. :)

She made herself comfortable in her birthday present, a pack & play for her baby dolls.

 

It snowed ALL DAY today. John came home from work early and did some snow removal with a helper.

 

We made Star Wars cupcakes for John's class tomorrow. His birthday falls on Monday, which also happens to be the first day of spring break.
