The Long Ride Home

With this grin she is proudly saying, "Yes, I snagged my brother's pillow, and no, I am not giving it back!"

 

I asked John to smile. This was his best impression of a smile. :)

 

We had a nice visit with Nonnie in Anchorage and made the long drive home today.

We were in Anchorage, so of course we went to Chuck E. Cheese. Twice. The second time it was just the four of us and we attempted to get Eliana to cooperate in the photo booth. As you can see, she was NOT in the mood. :)

Happy Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day. I relaxed most of the day, then John and I brought the kids to visit with Grandma and Grandpa.

John wanted to eat the lemon from his lemonade.

Isabela is sleeping. She often sleeps with her hands, and now her fingers, in funny positions.

Fun

Were finally able to break out the sidewalk paint and sidewalk chalk today. The kids had a blast while I was grilling dinner.

 

 

 

 

Fun Visit

Grandma and Grandpa came over to visit today. They brought bubbles and played soccer with the kids. :)

John has been begging for a mohawk since last summer when one of the kids on his soccer team had one. For some reason, his dad finally gave in tonight. :)

Family Math Night

Tonight was Family Math Night. John's class performed three math songs for us and then we played some math games.

Fun Night

 

We went out to dinner for Sabrina's 18th Birthday. We got home pretty late for a school night (8:45pm), but it was still light enough out to take a picture. :)

"You Might Want to Put This on Your Blog?"

John woke up early this morning, cleaned his room, then took a picture of his handy work. Then he woke me up, told me what he had done, and asked if I might want to put the picture on my blog. How on earth could I say no to that? :)
